>bubblechum the problem of gum on the streets is quite a substantial one. initially i pinpointed the audience most likely to respond to a campaign. a product solution seemed preferable to advertising alone & so i embarked upon designing a piece of packaging that would contain new gum as well as providing a partition for storage of used gum. when the new gum has been used the complete package will be disposed of. if the entire package is disposed of carelessly it can be picked up easily without the need for expensive street cleaning. whilst this approach would not eradicate the problem it would significantly reduce it.
