>abstract-lincoln initially this project was intended to illustrate contrast of form in lincoln; the contrast between the ornamental & decorative side of ‘old’ architecture & the clean flowing lines & shapes created by modern architecture & artifacts. however, for this portfolio i have included only the bauhaus inspired photography which ‘fits’ with bauhaus inspired design & architecture. this project was carried out as i first left scarborough & went to lincoln & so was heavily influenced by my personal feelings of the time. i had a new outlook on my surroundings; everything was new to me, & in lincoln there is far more modern design, of all kinds, than in scarborough.
