>nature reserve a series of images of whisby nature reserve, near lincoln. the fine grain of the kodak 160nc helps us perceive that there is no movement whatsoever, also the colour of this film provides very natural, subtle results which suits the muted colours of winter but also gives a very natural appearance to the water when used with a polarising filter. these three images explore the feeling of stillness & calm within the winter landscape of whisby nature reserve. the water reeds, & the water itself are both susceptible to change, from the wind, the birds, yet there is no movement at all, everything has come to a complete standstill in the winter.
